THE WORKING PRINCIPLE [1]
Fabric moves at very high speed,suspended and transported by the air flow,inside a special duct or channel,the heart of AIRO® treatment.
The air is taken from the surrounding area in adjustable amounts by means of a special high-efficiency centrifugal fan system,is injected into the channel to alternate directions at ex-tremely high speed.
The inversion of the flow is very quick and accurate,and the channel-self cleaning-is aerody-namically designed in order to avoid any resistance to air.


SYMMETRIC, EVEN AND CONSTANT DISTRIBUTION OF AIR ON THE FABRIC [2]
The shape and size of the treatment channel is not left to chance: it comes from the long expe-rience on the AIRO® Venturi tube.The operation is based on the physical principle of conserva-
tion of energy, which is transferred from the air flowing into the treatment channel to the fab-ric, which moves within an air cushion, and is processed evenly in width and length, with adjustable speeds that reach 2500m/min (150km/h).

 

 

 

THE IMPACT GRID [3]
Coming from the AIRO® experience, which allowed us to define and optimize their angle, dis-tance and structure, the special grids placed in front of the channel openings, allow the fabric to discharge the accumulated kinetic energy.The fabric benefits from the mechanical action developed within this process and acquires body,volume, drape, better stability while getting rid of any excess of humidity.

 

AIR RECIRCULATION
The recirculation action is created by the air depression at the channel extremity on the side where fabric enters, and by the proportion between injected and exhausted air.Even while alternating direction, the programmed amount, temperature and speed of the air remain con-stant as does the fabric speed, which is transported without tensions.

 

AIR HEATING WITH ANTI-YELLOWING SYSTEM [4]
Air can be heated by steam,diathermic oil,or gas.The high capacity and efficient gas burner,controlled by a microprocessor and the specific design of the machine avoids the need for maintenance and the risk of yellowing on fabrics like cotton,polyammide and elastan. 

 

FILTERING [5]
The filtering action is independent from the air recirculation process.The air which comes out from the self-cleaning treatment channel,loaded with humidity that has been extracted From the fabric and with dust and lint,immediately enters the exhaust flow,passing through an automatic filter, which is made up of a large self-cleaning filtering element,and compacting unit with a collection bag placed on ground level for an easy access.
This reduces cleaning operations to the minimum, preventing any clogging problem and avoiding any stoppage of the machine.The efficiency of AIRO® 24 is constant as is the quality of the treatment:lot after lot,day after day.


CONTINUOUS FABRIC STEAMING UNIT [6]
Positioned at the fabric inlet,the exclusive continuous steaming unit of AIRO® 24 delivers an adjustable amount of steam,which acts evenly on the whole width of the fabric during the passage immediately preceding the entrance in the machine.The exhaust fan ptaced over the unit and the drop-stop system eliminate the risk of condensation and drops on the fabric.

 

 

RECIPE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND REAL-TIME MONITORING [7]
The electronic control device allows,through a touch-screen interface,to store and recall all the treatment parameters,ensuring the highest degree of repeatability.It is also possible to display,even remotely, consumption and statistical data about the usage of the machine.

 

DRYING CAPACITY,PRODUCTIVITY,ECONOMY
The strong combination of air speed and mechanical action on the fabric,the proportion of new air and recirculated air injected into the treatment channel,the length of which opti-
mizes the thermal exchange between fabric and air,are ail elements that remarkably in-crease thermal efficiency and drying capacity,even when processing heavy fabric with high residual humidity.
The AIRO®24's high drying capacity, which is comparable to that of a stenter frame,with other elements such as non-stop in/out fabric synchronization,efficiency of the filtering
system being maintenance-free design,are all features that contribute to the high produc-tivity of the machine.
Together with its low electrical consumption (minimal installed power and electronically controlled motors), AIRO®24 offers an extremely efficient production,delivering the least cost per meter of processed fabric.

polyammide,Tencel,Lyocell,Modal),synthetic fibers (PES,nylon,acrylic,PP,PU,PVC) in all types of construction such as woven,knitted,flock and non-woven,with different application; apparel,upholstery,technical textiles.
No limits in weight and width.Results are obtained in complete safety and absence of defects.
